The moment you start hoarding, your source will dry up. God won’t violate His Word. Have you decided to withhold until you have more put aside for your retirement, or towards the new home or car? Listen: Everything we have has come from you … (1 Chronicles 29:14, NLT). Everything you’ll ever have comes from Him. You don’t have a thing He didn’t give you!
Paul said, in effect, “Take plenty of time to think it over, and make up your own mind how much you should give (See 2 Corinthians 9:7). Do you do that? When He tells you what to give, do you try to bargain with Him?
When God speaks to you about a specific seed, it’s because He has a specific harvest in mind. The question is, are you listening, or are you afraid He’ll ask you for something you would like to keep?
Move out of fear and into faith. God’s saying to you today, “Test me … and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it” (Malachi 3:10, NIV). Today, He wants you to have more than enough.
