And the Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy you with all good things, and keep you healthy too. Isaiah 58:11, TLB
No Political party can do this for you. No insurance policy can give you such coverage. Look what He promised. First, He’ll help you make all the right decisions. Next, He’ll keep you healthy. Then He’ll satisfy you with all good things. The problem is, most of the time we don’t know what’s good for us–a good husband or a good wife–no husband or no wife? It’s better to want what you don’t have, than to have what you don’t want. God told Jeremiah that the plans He had for him were good (see Jeremiah 29:11).
But who are these good things for? You may be surprised. They are tor those who don’t criticize or gossip.
God said, “Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: ‘Here am I. If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday”‘ (Isaiah 58 :9, NIV).
These promises are for those who love God and love people-that means they ‘ re for you. Take a few moments today and thank God for His goodness .
