”O my God, mu soul is cast down within me: Therefore Will I remember Thee.” Psalm 42:6

The Message says it this way, ‘When my soul is in the dumps, I rehearse everything I know of You.” David talked to himself and you’ve got to learn to do that, too. Listen: ”Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits- 3 who forgives all your sins (Psalm 103:2-3, NIV).” The charges against you have all been dropped. It doesn’t matter how many court records there are, or how many fingers point in accusation. John wrote, ”He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1 :9).”

Read the rest of Psalm 103:3, ”Who heals all your diseases.” Has He ever healed you? Or better yet, has He kept you healthy? Isaiah says, ”The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy you will all good things, and keep you healthy too (Isaiah 58:11, TLB).” If you can speak, then praise Him. If you can move, then lift up your hands and begin to exalt Him. If you can think, then begin to rehearse His goodness to you. We forget so easily, and before we know it, we’re complaining about things that don’t amount to a hill of beans. Come on, child of God, it’s time for a rehearsal. David said, ”Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy (Psalm 107:2).” Try itl It’s the Bible cure for depression.”
