Often, we hear people say, “Only the Lord knows for sure.” Yes, but don’t stop there! He is willing to share with you what He knows. He simply waits to be asked. That’s why He gave you His Word-to make you a success in every area of life. The other day, I read a slogan that said, “When all else fails, read the instructions. “I smiled as I realized how often and how impulsively I rush into things, only to discover it’s a lot easier to get into them, than it is to get out of them. Wrong moves can cost you dearly. Yet the solution is so simple. Listen again: “If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask Him, and He will gladly tell you.”
If the answer doesn’t come as quickly as you would like, here could be other things in your life that need to be dealt with first. Or it could be that He would just like to spend time with you. Not asking, just adoring! It’s a lot easier to respond to someone who doesn’t just show an interest in you when the need something. Do you really trust Him? If you do, you’ll wait, totally confident that He will direct you and take care of all that concerns you.
