“Thy faith hath made thee whole” Mark 5:34

In Mark 5, we read of a woman who was dying of an incurable disease. For twelve years she had gone from doctor to doctor until she spent all her money. One day she heard about Jesus. As she listened, faith began to grow in her heart, and she said to herself, “If I can touch His clothes, I will be made well.” Then “she came behind Him … and touched His garment.” When she did, the Bible says: “Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up” (See Mark 5:27-29, NKJV).

Notice the progression: first, she HEARD something; second, she SAID something; third, she DID something. She pushed her way through the crowd, overcoming every obstacle to get to Him. The moment she touched Him she was healed. Jesus turned and said, “Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole” (Mark 5:34).

If faith can make you “whole,” then what you need today is more faith. Get back into the Word. Bring others into your life who have faith, and who will speak “The Word of Faith” to you on a continuous basis. Paul said, “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked” (Ephesians 6:16).

Child of God, pick-up the shield of faith, use the sword of the Word, and watch God begin to give you victory over the things you’re facing today.
